I suppose all things are possible...
If you were the tallest "structure" on a very large, flat plain, I suppose you could get hit by lightning.
Otherwise it would have to be a fluke. A really, zillion-to-one-against fluke, I might add.
Although stranger things have happened!
I wouldn't worry about it. I rode 30 miles home from class last week in a thunderstorm, didn't give it a second thought
(other than grumbling because I didn't have my rain pants, just the jacket - kept having to stop and curl my toes to squish enough water out of my boots to keep my feet on the pegs).
Any of you meteorologists out there care to differ? I may be going on outdated knowledge and would love to know if I'm right.
